Founded in 1971 with Robert Lee Morris the original store, File and Hammer Silver, began as a tiny store in Bellows Falls Vermont show-casing only our designs. After Robert left in 1974 it became Anthony Toepfer Jewelers.  Over the years the store began to include beautiful work from other jewelers and to accommodate this growth, the store moved in 1988 to an historic building on Central Square, Keene, New Hampshire. Anthony retired and closed the business on October 1, 2014.
